While we were planning our music video we decided to assign each member of our group to certain roles. These roles are each in there own way extremely important in making sure our music video is finalized professionally.
The Group:
Artist: Rosetta Forlagwo After much discussion with the group we decided that Rosetta would be our artist for the music video. Rosetta has had previous theatrical experience, so had no trouble performing in front of a camera. All though Rosetta is not a singer and had never had to lip sync before, she has done a really good job and has approached this task very professionally. She also has had the freedom of picking her own outfit for each shoot to the extent of how the group wanted the artists' image to be.
Executive Producer | Cheif Camera Woman: Rebecca Louisa De Santos Rebecca was given the task of filming. I personally thought Rebecca would be excellent at this because I personally know that she has a talent for taking really good photos (Both scenery & of people). Rebecca's duty has been heavy influenced by my role in this group. Rebecca and I would discuss about: how the shots would portray our theme motif, how they would show the artist in terms of lighting and dismemberment & which shots were more professional.
Head Executive Producer | Cheif Editor: Ryan Cameron As a music enthusiast, I was extremely excited to produce a music video. I immediately took the lead role of the group, making sure that we reach the targets and deadlines for what's needed for the music video. Although not all my primary ideas were accomplished, My group and I have created brilliantly media work due to everyone's input. I made myself in charge of editing due to my experience on apple software such as Final Cut Pro.Whilst being in charge of editing, I also set direction for Rosetta as we were shooting. I was exceptional at this due to my well experienced background in dance and performance. I also made it easier for Rosetta by bringing my own portable speakers so that she could sing along to the song while filming making i easier for her to perform and remember the words.
