Planning For Music Video - Analysis of 3 music videos that have given influence for my final planning decisions

Wiley - Numbers In Action
Wiley's 'Numbers In Actions' has been a great influence when planning for my music video. The simplicity of the basetracks and editing is key to making this music video what it is. I especially applaud the use of editing where at the chorus you can see wiley in one shot doing different movements e.g. clapping his hands, pushing down numbers etc.

The editing to make each action sync with with the song is brilliant.

James Blake - The Wilhelm Scream
The use of editing in James Blake's 'The Wilhelm Scream' is extremely influential. The use of the focus technique that makes the artist look hazy is definitely an edit that I would like to use for my Music Video.
I also applaud the movement of the camera during the video and it is also a technique that I would like to use for my video.

Rihanna ft. Drake - What's My Name
I find this video influential by the scenery shots at the beginning. I would like to do scenery shots at the beginning of my music video to show where the music video is initially set. I also applaud the shots of Rihanna that show her radiance through the way the light hits her. I would also like to do this for my artist as they are also good shots that can take up space when editing.
