Researching Ancillary Products - analysis of three digipak [real artists]

The style in which my artist, Eminé Parker performs determines how the digipak for her is going to look. My artist is a commercial rnb & pop singer. Therefore I want for her to be depicted as that as well as being her image.

Artists that influence the look i want for Eminé Parker:

Danity Kane "Welcome to the Dollhouse". Danity Kane's Second album. this has a simple but powerful front cover. It has the five members sitting or lying down besides each other in front of a white angellic like background on a wooden floor. There are no edits used which can be seen as extraordinary or technical. This is an extremely influential production and I would like to produce a CD cover similar to this for my artist. It has the artist logo (DK) that would be recognizable to their fans. It has no more than three different fonts. and the picture is clear and understandable as it is only a shot of the group members. the colour scheme is beautiful and angelic and shows the artists stripped back (apart from the makeup of course).

Beyoncé's album covers are again extremely influential and striking. Each image on each album shows her in a powerful way that would be recognizable to the consumer. Her CD panel designs precisely follow the guidelines that I must follow to create a professional digipak.

Katy Perry's teenage dream album is again another influential album. The theme resembles the artist very well and the colour scheme is basic in retrospect.
