Photo shoot for potential images

Here are the pics that I took on Sunday. There are a lot of shots here because I wanted to have a variety of images that I could choose from for my promotional package. I did take the images that I intended on taking and also some more. Just thought it be quite interesting to upload t

the all so you all can look through them. 

FINAL PRODUCT... I think

This is my digipak and ad so far. I thought it was done, but after a couple of hours I've realised that I want to do more with it and will do some little editing during Annabelle's lesson. So far I have followed the style of black and white and simplicity but I think a little more needs to be done to give it that ooomph! Maybe where I have blank white space I could add an background that'll accompany the theme accordingly. On the plus side though the images do look quite nice if I may say. During Annabelle's lesson my digipak and advert will be completed. 

Photoshoot location

The location for the iconic "Breakfast at Tiffany's" shoot will be taken at Mediterrean restaurants El Mino and Le Croissant D'or. These two restaurants will be ideal for my photoshoot as they have this element of authenticity about their atmosphere and image. The enviroment is also very friendly and I happen to have built a very good relationship with the two owners, who are more than happy with me using their restaurants as a prop for my project. The reason of why I'd be using both restaurants is because I like the order of the two and will be taking pictures in both and the best of the two will be used for the finishing ad campaign. The restaurants are called "El Mino" and "Le Croissant D'or". The universal theme that the artist Emine Parker and management are seeking to portray will also be perceived through the images, so this further makes these restaurants perfectly suited for the bill.


P.S They also make WONDERFUL cheese toasted panini's. :-p

The image idea for Emine Parker is elegance. This idea will be seen through her attrire, she will be wearing plain coloured clothings; balck. The only off colour item she will be wearing will be her pearl accessories and maybe red lipstick. This image will be for the albums front cover only. However, for the advert and remaining parts of the digipak she will be wearing a mixture of black and white smart wear. The smart wear will possibly consist of plain white shirt, black bow tie, short pleated skirt and black high heels. I cannot stress enough on just how important the artists image is. What she wears now or is seen wearing will determine the peoples perception.

Planning process for album ad & album digipak

I'm at the stage of where I just need to do the photo shoot for my print and album. This will be done during the weekend as I have already liased with my friend who is an photography student and the restaurant owner of the restaurant I will be using t take some of my Hepburn inspired pics. The next images that will be photographed of artist will be taken from the college photography room, as there is a nice white background that will accurately accompany the back(outside) of the album cover and the left hand side of the inside of the cd. Once the photo shoot is over, my print and digipak production process would've ended. Hopefully by the beginning of next week my photo's would've been added on the packages and edited.
